Zhonghua Ren joined the group as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in 2020. He completed BS in Mineral Processing Engineering from Central South University and obtained his MS and PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. His PhD research focused mainly on developing novel porous materials for energy storage and conversion. He is now engaged in Nextrode project (Work Package 3) from the Faraday Institution with a focus on manufacturing thick electrodes and graded electrodes for next generation lithium-ion batteries.
