I am a DPhil student in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford and a member of Cohort 2 of the Materials 4.0 CDT, led by the Henry Royce Institute. My research focuses on developing a multi-modal X-ray imaging technique that integrates diffraction, spectroscopy, and artificial intelligence to map hydrogen in metals and investigate its behaviour in transport, trapping, and embrittlement under in-situ conditions. My work is supervised by Dr Enzo Liotti.

Before commencing my DPhil, I worked at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid and gained research experience at world-leading facilities, including the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC), the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY), and the European XFEL. I have received several international awards, most notably the 2024 Golden Proton Award at an international science competition held at CERN.
