Stan is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford. He obtained his PhD degree through a joint industrial-academic project at imec and KU Leuven in Belgium, working on 3D-nanowire electrodes for Li-ion batteries and electrolytic H2 generation. Prior to that, he completed a MSc in Nanoscience at the University of Barcelona, Spain and a Young Graduate Internship at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Besides energy storage, his scientific interests include (nano)porous materials, surface engineering and electro/physical chemistry.
